How many of the parents nowadays working both in the family? I have seen most of them were on the same situation. Both working, kids are with at home alone and some are with their nannies and day cares. I find the situation very hard for the kids but I am aware that in this world we live in now, both of the parents should work to be able to provide the better future for their kids now matter how hard it is for both parents and kids.

Personally, I am happy that I have been a stay at home then became a work at home mom for some time. I am happy that I was able to be with my kids during those important days of their lives. I got to watch their first dance on stage, first parade, first field trip, exams, meetings, and so many more! I am so glad I didn’t miss them! We were lucky coz we were living with my in-laws.  They have been very kind to us and helped us almost all the way. But now that we are here in US, all alone, no more in-laws beside us though they are still willing to help but it’s different now, we have to live by ourselves and to be able to do that, I have to start working too. I am afraid my husband and I will be both gonna be busy soon but I am not letting my kids to feel that way. We wanna still find time to bond with them, I admire my husband who’s always busy with his work but still manage to play with our kids after work, so I think we can still do that even I am already working.  I will make sure I’m gonna work max of 8 hours a day  just like what I’ve read in California Overtime.
