Pet owners typically serve food to dogs on the floor in a plastic, or sometimes metal, bowl. This was never questioned until recently. There are now new designs that have been borne from innovative thoughts about product engineering and artistic design. Pet owners now demand the same kind of lifestyle improvements for their pets that they expect for themselves. Pet product creators are responding to those needs with increased technology.

Ergonomic functionality is now being taken into account for pet products which has resulted in new designs being implemented for everyday products. With this, there is also a demand for pet products to be visually appealing and compliment the design of our home. Pets have responded well, proving to be happier and healthier from the designs that are refined enough to have won awards at industrial, interior and architectural design competitions.

The pet dining table sits firmly at the top of these new designs. They have been designed ergonomically with the designers, working alongside veterinarians, having drawn the conclusion that eating, as well as drinking, from a raised bowl, with an elevated head in a more natural position, improves digestion. They also saw it as being more comfortable for the pet. There is now a large variety of such products available. Some are a basic table or stand with holes to fit the bowls in while others are made using highly sophisticated engineering and materials. A great example is a collection of stainless bowls for dogs and cats. Feeding bowls include a cut-out for the hand that allows the bowl to also act as a food scoop, a non-skid mat which is shaped for the stand, a technologically advanced twin-loop “Booster” for elevation and two runner feet that improves stability when on a flat surface.

Although these new designer bowls are a nice luxury for your pet, the main priority for looking after your pet is always their health. In pet medication there have been major advancements recently, especially for those pets that suffer from Cushing disease. There now is medication such as Vetoryl and Prascend, which is designed especially to treat your pets that suffer from this terrible disease. For pets that have issues with their eyes or ears, a good new medication that will help your pet get rid of these problems is called Optimmune.

As much as we believe our dogs deserve all these fancy gadgets and be sitting with us at our dining table, it is important to first and foremost ensure that they are being given most recent treatments available for any ailments that they may suffer from.

Homeworks!

I am so proud of my first grader! She’s more responsible now especially when it comes on making home works! Everyday except Friday has home work from school and I am happy that she never complain about it but instead remind me of signing her form to acknowledge that she finished her home work. I didn’t expect it from her coz for the past 4 years of schooling, she always doesn’t want to do home works that’s why I am so happy this time. Her homework is not that hard, it’s more on spelling and math work sheets for 1st grade and I think she can handle it very well without me teaching her. I hope she will still be still like this next year even if she’s gonna do a harder ones like second grade math worksheets. I am so proud of my little girl! Keep it up girl!

Kids in a Daycare

When I first came here in America, I am not comfortable with Daycares. I am not comfortable leaving my kids to anybody aside from the fact that I am afraid to leave them to strangers, I don’t want them to feel that their parents are too busy not to take care of them personally. When I first came here, I was taking care of them after school, they are not going to a daycare coz I am not working that time. But recently, I started to look for a job and I don’t have a choice but to leave them in the daycare especially because it’s summer time and no school. We started to leave them in a daycare then I started to worry too. My kids especially my youngest always had a hard time saying goodbye to us. He’s always crying when we’re leaving him and that breaks my heart so much. But lately when we transfered them to a new daycare, I noticed that there’s some changes in their behavior. They became more excited in the morning, my son doesn’t have trouble on saying goodbye to us now, though sometimes he is still sad when Mommy is leaving but all in all, they are doing fine and they seemed to be happy whenever they are in their daycare.

It’s nice that I finally found a daycare where my heart and mind is at peace. I am glad my kids are always having a great time and have new friends. I hope their attitude towards this daycare will not change and hopefully the teachers will not stop loving and caring for my kids.

A friend of mine told me about the experience she had when they visited her sister. Well, that day was awesome according to her since she met the friends of her sister and they had so much fun too. There are plenty of activities they have tried out and one of the best stuffs they have done in there was when the ashdown effects pedals Musicians friend of her sister used for the party they had. As she was talking, I thought to myself that soon hopefully my family could have the same experience as they’ve done too. Oh well, indeed it was very unforgettable moment for her and to her family and friends too.

Kids do love strolling around at home especially in our gardens, but how safe they are in your place? Of course, we know how safe our house to our kids especially to toddlers. If you do have pools at home then, we strongly agreed that we’re not 100% sure about their safety in terms of this matter.
How can you help this incident not to happen? Well, with pool covers, you don’t have to worry if your kids and toddlers would be playing in your garden or near your pool area. You can even actually leave them and made some sandwiches in the kitchen for their play time. Isn’t that great? Everything can now be secured and you know you’ve got it all!

Way to go my Cheerleader!

Way to go my Cheerleader!

It’s my daughter’s 3rd week now in CHEERLEADING CLASS. She seem having fun and enjoying it while the time goes on. She learned so many cheering songs and movements already and learning more every session!

 She get to meet different kids and some of them were actually from her school too! She has lots of friends now and hoping to know more!

I am so excited for my baby! After this cheerleading, I am planning to enroll her to gymnastics again.

My mom has this great job that sometime requires us all to relocate. My dad is kind of a stay at home dad that takes care of the house and the kids just like my mom would do if she switched places with dad. Anyway, this last move got us to Houston, Texas. So we had to change schools and everything. I was not OK with the move because I hated to leave all my friends. But really I had no choice in the matter. Before the move the realtor had told my parents about Shop electricity rates in Houston as a place we could find the best website to shop for our electricity. Then she directed us to where the local schools were located and told us where to find a shopping mall that was convenient to our new house. For a realtor, she was especially nice about sticking around after the sale of our house. Right after we moved, I saw this really cute boy that lives just three doors down. I have a feeling that this place might just grow on me.

Fall is an exciting time of year for many people. Weather is brisk and invigorating. The autumnal landscapes can be spectacular with color and people begin to focus their attention on the holidays and home decoration. Gourds, hay bales, and Indian corn make great accents to celebrate the season. Pumpkins are the stand-out harvest product that best represents the fall spirit. There are many ways to use pumpkins when they are plentiful and cheap. Many carve the traditional jack-o-lantern, but there are many ways pumpkins can enhance home décor. Pumpkins are an excellent food and can be used in desserts and savory recipes with equal aplomb. Even though Halloween has surpassed us, below are some creative ways to use pumpkin.
Pumpkin Soup — Any flesh you have carved away can be roasted to create a fabulous pumpkin soup. Remove the seeds from the guts and rinse them, drying off excess moisture. Place the seeds in single layer on a lightly-oiled cookie sheet and stir them to coat both sides with oil. Season them to taste with salt; add cayenne pepper if you enjoy spicy snacks. Slow-roast in an oven set to 300-degrees. Watch carefully so they do not burn. The seeds can be served in miniature pumpkins you can find during the season.
Pumpkin Stock — Pumpkin guts can be used to make a tasty stock for pumpkin soup or great vegetarian dishes. Add onion, celery, carrot and other vegetable trimmings. Start with cold water and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 30-40 minutes to extract the flavors, then drain and cool. Refrigerate, freeze or use immediately.
Pumpkin Puree — Pumpkin purée can be used to create gourmet food. Pumpkin pasta, soup, or pies taste unbelievable when prepared with fresh roasted pumpkin. Start the process by cutting it if half and scooping out the guts. Place cut-side down in a baking dish and add a cup of water. Roast in a moderate oven for 90 minutes. Scoop the flesh away from the skin and purée in a food processor or blender. The purée can be used immediately or frozen.

 

 

 

 
DIY Face Mask — Pumpkin contains many vitamins and zinc, which are good for the skin. Add 3 teaspoons of brown sugar to 2 tablespoons of pumpkin purée and thin with a little milk. Apply to your face and let the mask set for 30 minutes, then rinse off the mixture. The brown sugar will provide an exfoliating benefit.

 

 

 
Pumpkin Serving Bowls — Make bowls out of small pumpkins to impress your guests at a dinner party. Cut off the tops and remove the insides. Brush with oil and place on a baking sheet and cover with foil. Bake in a moderate oven for 30 minutes. These make a great serving dish for cream of pumpkin soup and your presentation will draw raves from guests.
Pumpkin Planter — Make a pumpkin planter. Use a carved or un-carved gourd. Get some annuals from a local nursery. Fill the bottom of the pumpkin one-third full. Place your chosen plant carefully, then fill to the top with potting soil. You can display the plant in your home or on a porch for the holiday, then transfer outdoors./ Just insert the whole pumpkin into the ground. The pumpkin shell will provide nutrients. Hopefully, you won’t have an early frost so the annual can take root and survive the coming winter.

Preparation for Ishi’s 6th Birthday

Preparation for Ishi’s 6th Birthday

Ishi’s birthday venue is set! She’s going to celebrate her birthday at Jumpzone with her classmates and some friends on November 12th. Can’t wait. I am so excited. I know Ishi is so excited too but as a mom, my excitement is I guess is greater than hers. I can’t believe my darling is turning six now, it’s been a while since the last time she celebrated her 5th birthday and she had a blast!

Celebrating her birthday is a simple way is actually our plan but since the granny pledge for her birthday, we were able to give her a party that she wanted. This is what she wants, with party, with cake, with balloons and goodies and most importantly with her classmates. She is so happy with her new classmates and friends now maybe that’s why she wanted to have a party with them.

So for now, we are just waiting for the day to come, the place was set, the cake was ordered, the goodies are here, just have to add some  stationery set in it and viola, let’s party! The only thing that i have to prepare for the party is her back up clothes if ever the dress she’s suppose to wear on her birthday don’t arrive in time.
