My New Website
I bought a new website yesterday mylittlengelsinamerica.com, I am moving My Little Angels in America to a new site and I will still maintain this site as Life’s Memoirs Online. This is my 14th domain already but not all are active. I am investing domains and who knows, maybe these sites will give me more income someday.
It’s hard to maintain different blogs with different niches. Not all of them have updates coz sometimes I can’t think of anything to write to a specific niche. For now, shopping is my favorite thing to do so My Fashion and shopping blog is always updated. I have travel blog but I cannot update it since I am not travelling that much. I also have food blog, I am so excited to blog everyday in that site but then again, I am not in the mood to write about food so I stopped updating it. Now that I have new blog again, I am not sure how to manage them, my other blogger friends keep on saying that I should have Maintenance Management Software so I could manage all of them but I don’t think that’s necessary. I guess I can be able to update them, not immediately, maybe soon whenever I am ready.
No Smoking
When I was a kid I often read the sign NO SMOKING wherever I was. In a passenger jeepney, in a bus, in school, in an office, in a mall and even in some part of the streets. And when I was a kid I learned that smoking is bad for our health. I believe that but in some reason I was smoking during my college days. I stopped when my boyfriend, now my husband talked to me and asked me to stop. But sometimes, I still can’t stop myself from smoking so I am still smoking occasionally til I got pregnant with my first born Ishi. Now I am totally out from it. No more Smoking! I am also trying to convince my brother who is really a chain smoker to stop smoking already coz it has lots of effects to our body. I am planning to buy him best electronic cigarette so it can help him stop smoking. I am sure that will be effective. It’s better if he’s taking an artificial one than wasting his money and ruining his body at the same time. I wish my brother will stop it soon and I hope it’s not too late to stop him.

Fall is an exciting time of year for many people. Weather is brisk and invigorating. The autumnal landscapes can be spectacular with color and people begin to focus their attention on the holidays and home decoration. Gourds, hay bales, and Indian corn make great accents to celebrate the season. Pumpkins are the stand-out harvest product that best represents the fall spirit. There are many ways to use pumpkins when they are plentiful and cheap. Many carve the traditional jack-o-lantern, but there are many ways pumpkins can enhance home décor. Pumpkins are an excellent food and can be used in desserts and savory recipes with equal aplomb. Even though Halloween has surpassed us, below are some creative ways to use pumpkin.
Pumpkin Soup — Any flesh you have carved away can be roasted to create a fabulous pumpkin soup. Remove the seeds from the guts and rinse them, drying off excess moisture. Place the seeds in single layer on a lightly-oiled cookie sheet and stir them to coat both sides with oil. Season them to taste with salt; add cayenne pepper if you enjoy spicy snacks. Slow-roast in an oven set to 300-degrees. Watch carefully so they do not burn. The seeds can be served in miniature pumpkins you can find during the season.
Pumpkin Stock — Pumpkin guts can be used to make a tasty stock for pumpkin soup or great vegetarian dishes. Add onion, celery, carrot and other vegetable trimmings. Start with cold water and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 30-40 minutes to extract the flavors, then drain and cool. Refrigerate, freeze or use immediately.
Pumpkin Puree — Pumpkin purée can be used to create gourmet food. Pumpkin pasta, soup, or pies taste unbelievable when prepared with fresh roasted pumpkin. Start the process by cutting it if half and scooping out the guts. Place cut-side down in a baking dish and add a cup of water. Roast in a moderate oven for 90 minutes. Scoop the flesh away from the skin and purée in a food processor or blender. The purée can be used immediately or frozen.
DIY Face Mask — Pumpkin contains many vitamins and zinc, which are good for the skin. Add 3 teaspoons of brown sugar to 2 tablespoons of pumpkin purée and thin with a little milk. Apply to your face and let the mask set for 30 minutes, then rinse off the mixture. The brown sugar will provide an exfoliating benefit.
Pumpkin Serving Bowls — Make bowls out of small pumpkins to impress your guests at a dinner party. Cut off the tops and remove the insides. Brush with oil and place on a baking sheet and cover with foil. Bake in a moderate oven for 30 minutes. These make a great serving dish for cream of pumpkin soup and your presentation will draw raves from guests.
Pumpkin Planter — Make a pumpkin planter. Use a carved or un-carved gourd. Get some annuals from a local nursery. Fill the bottom of the pumpkin one-third full. Place your chosen plant carefully, then fill to the top with potting soil. You can display the plant in your home or on a porch for the holiday, then transfer outdoors./ Just insert the whole pumpkin into the ground. The pumpkin shell will provide nutrients. Hopefully, you won’t have an early frost so the annual can take root and survive the coming winter.
Fun In Charleston
When you target a place to stay in for quite a long while, it is important that you know what you can do in that place for fun. Life is too short not to have fun. In Charleston, South Carolina, the fun is either on land or on water. How adventurous are you? You can do kayaking or sailing. Enjoy fishing and the water parks, tennis and horseback riding during summer and ice skating during winter. Anytime of the year, it is a great place to be outdoors.
If you think you would like this lifestyle throughout the year then it is high time that you move your stuff in one of the Charleston real estate residences. There are just a lot to choose from which can be within your financial capacity. There are lots of places to choose from with large neighborhoods or from just small towns.
When looking for a real estate property in Charsleton, or any location for that matter, it is important that you find an agent who knows the area very well. You tell him or her what your priorities are in spotting the right place. Eventually you have to come to the right price. Something you can afford.
Gifts for Daddy
Christmas is coming so fast, I still don’t ave a work and unfortunately, USCIS just denied my Employment Authorization due to some miscommunication issue. I am so disappointed that I will not be able to have a job soon. I need to have a job, I need to help my husband in all our expenses especially now that Christmas is coming. I don’t even have a gift for him. I saw some affordable gifts already such as mens sexy wear and some simple men’s accessories but haven’t decided yet what to buy. I guess any gift is okay as long as it’s coming from me like what other people say “it’s the thought that counts” and I agree with that. I wish I could settle my employment permit soon, I really need a job. God Help me.
Let’s Loose Some Sugar!
Last weekend is a very hectic schedule for all of us. My kids have plenty of activities in their school and we don’t wanna miss it!
Ishi had their First Literacy Night last Thursday and then Friday was their Tail Gate. They are all fun but tiring so we didn’t go out last Saturday and had our rest all day. Sunday afternoon before we go to Walmart and bought some groceries, daddy decided to bring the kids to the park coz they are very hyper and they seem to have very high sugar level for being stuck all day in the house. So here they go…

We were so hungry so we bought some chicken strips and potato wedges for a quick snack before we play in Dave Peel’s Park.

Ishi played with her dad – tag me!

Ethan managed to find new friends this time and played with them – the other kids and him were pretending to have a burger store and the stones are the budgers. Hmm…yummy burgers!

The kids once again had a happy weekend and were glad the weather was fine that day.

Experience The Thrill At Great Wolf
Summer has gotten too far. It is VERY HOT! What we needed is a cooler place to freshen ourselves. We need to go to an Indoor Water Park so we can splash in the water without being exposed in the sun.
Did you know that one of the Largest Indoor Water Park is located here in Texas? Right. Great Wolf Lodge is in Grapevine, Texas and it is one of the most visited Indoor Water Parks in the country. There are lots of fun activities to do at Great Wolf including the water park rides. Two of the most thrilling water rides are Howlin’ Tornado and Coyote Cannon.
Howlin’ Tornado – Up to four riders. Be sure and willing to be dropped into the 6-storey funnel. Swishing and swirling 30 feet up the sides of the funnel. Whoah! It is a very amusing ride.
Coyote Cannon – This thrilling ride is fun because riders are dropped in to a 40 feet cannon bowl. Rushing waters splashing on you as you safely land in the bowl.
If you have not gone to any Great Wolf Lodge water parks, better visit and enjoy the summer. Your children will definitely have fun in their Indoor Activities for Kids. The attractions and accommodations are affordable for the family. You will share these great summer Activities for kids with excitement and all out fun!
IT Professionals
My husband is an IT. He is a JAVA developer to be exact. I dunno how they differ from web developer jobs but one thing is for sure, his job is something I find difficult. But I know it was just easy for him coz it’s his expertise. Most of the Filipino friends we have here were IT professionals. All of them working here as an IT. Some of them were here a long time ago and some were new just like my husband. Most of our neighbors in our community were IT as well. I am just amazed with these people. They are so in-demand and I admit their salary is good! How I wish I took the same degree instead of AB Psychology. But I ‘m thankful that I didn’t coz I am surely not be graduating if I took that course.
Someone Gave Us a TV!
Daddy’s friend gave his TV to us. Not the fabulous one we are dreaming but just right for the kids when they are so bored. It is so big, I guess about 24 inches wide. I have no idea. Kids were so excited when they saw it and Ishi even said “I’m so glad we have a TV now”. I can imagine how they miss to watch in a television. But the problem is that, it oly has 3 channels for now. I guess we need a network cable first to have channels. I am also excited but not because i am gonna watch but at least I can be able to watch news live or NBA like for my husband. I am not so in television, my pc is enough for me. I just want a TV for Wii or XBOX which is we don’t have yet.
