Father’s Day is a big holiday for families, and it can be stressful trying to come up with ideas of gifts for him. Dads are especially difficult to shop for, but with these gift ideas for Father’s Day, you will be ready to hit the stores to find the perfect gifts for him!
Because Father’s Day is such an important holiday for families, most department stores and online catalogs will have specialty sales on items that many fathers would enjoy having. Men’s clothing goes on sale during this time, and prices on hardware and other assorted tools are slashed weeks before Father’s Day in preparation for the expected high demand. A great idea if you are having trouble coming up with ideas for the father in your life is to take a look at the advertisements that department stores and online catalogs send out before Father’s Day. By looking at these possible gift ideas for Father’s Day, you can prepare yourself to head to the store and find the perfect gift!
The most important thing to do in preparation for buying a Father’s Day gift is getting to know the person you are buying the gift for! Obviously, Father’s Day is geared toward families, and it can be assumed that most people know their fathers, grandfathers, husbands, etc. very well. However, it can often be a difficult thing to find a present for someone, no matter how well you know them. That’s why you have to be attentive to the needs and preferences of your loved one.
By paying a little extra attention to the father in your life during the few weeks before Father’s Day, you are giving yourself a head start on figuring out what to get him on that special day! However, sometimes it is impossible to spend more time with the father or fathers in your life during the time before Father’s Day. Many children, now grown, have moved away from their parents and are unable to spend much time with them.
Regardless, it is still possible for these people to take a little extra time and effort to better understand what that special someone would like. Simple conversations with people will give you an idea of what kind of gifts they would be interested in. Further, if you are unable to physically be with all of the fathers that you would like to honor this Father’s Day to give your gift to them in person, there are several online cataloging sites that offer shipping to the address of your choice. This way, you can find the perfect gifts for him while ensuring the safe delivery of your gifts right to his doorstep without any hassle at all!
Few days to go and we still don’t have a gift for daddy. What d you think is the better idea to give this father’s day? I am thinking of baking a cake for him instead of buying gifts. I think he has everything he need for now coz we just had our shopping last month. I am also thinking of some Home & Office Gift Ideas but I don’t have anything in mind what’s the best thing to give him. We don’t have an office yet at home, so I guess he don’t need it yet. I think I will stick on just baking the cake with the help of my kiddos. I just have to think of a design of a cake. I already have my ready cake mix, i just need to decor it. Advance Happy Father’s day to all the fathers out there!
Summer Time Swimming time!

Few weekends left and we will be with Dad very soon.
My kids missed Daddy already. I feel so excited yet nervous. We we’re not packed yet for we still have few weeks left to use our stuff. But I already have my list of the things we need to bring such some of their clothes and toys, vitamins and some first aid medicines etc. I am also preparing the things I have to dispose already instead of getting them stocked in our room. Don’t bother to ask some coz most of our stuff are junk.
We only have few weeks left, 34 days to be exact, I feel like time is getting so little and little and I feel like I still have things need to do but I am panicking and dunno what to do first.
While I can’t think of the things I have to prepare, I decided to use my first week of February visiting some of my friends and relatives after kids’ school. Yes they are still busy with their studies until before the day of our departure.
So last Tuesday, we visited their Lola Ming (Lola sa tuhod) in Hermosa, Tondo. They seldom see their Lola that’s why their Lola was very happy to see the kids.

The next day, Wednesday, we visited Aunt Beng in 2nd Ave. before she fly to QATAR and then we headed to Velasquez, Tondo to visit one of my friend and have them meet my kids in person.
My kids enjoyed watching TV with the other kids there but we have to go home early coz Mama has to attend her prayer meeting that night.

Thursday, we visited Tita NORA in Dapitan. one of my blogger friend and the closest one. My kids loved her not because of the spaghetti she cooked for us nor pizzas she ordered for us but because of the toys she let them played. They really enjoyed their visit there, Nora’s daughter and my kids played together, painted together and watched TV together. Now my kids are asking me to bring then back there. You have to be ready Nora. We will soon be raiding you again

Then today, Friday, I bought my kids to their Pediatrician and got their 2nd VARICELLA shot. Tomorrow is another busy day for us, Ishi scheduled for her 2D Echo with his Pedia Cardiologist.
This was only the beginning of our busy weeks before our flight. Can’t wait to end it and finally fly to US!
Yesterday was daddy and I first chat being far from each other. We are chatting like almost everyday when he’s still in th Philippines, but this time he’s in USA and I’m in the Philippines. Days are becoming more exciting for us. It’s been a week now since he left and I am missing him so much as well as our kids.
Today is Saturday here so no classes, kids and dad were able to chat this morning.

I am so excited seeing them talking with their dad. Interviewing their dad, asking too many questions like, are you coming home yet? Is there a pool in there? How were you able to go in there daddy? What’s the color of your car? etc. etc. I so love watching them. Daddy also toured the kids inside his house…he showed the kids his bed where he’s sleeping, his own bathroom inside the room, his own TV, the kitchen, and even the laundry area lols and Ishi was like “Nice room!” with feelings. hahahahhaha!
Ishi was so funny when daddy showed his bathroom, and heard the door banging, “Mommy, sinarahan tyu ni dad!”, lols. Then daddy paused for a while, we were waiting the Ishi said again “Mommy gusto ko na lumabas!”, I asked “Where?”, she replied “dito sa bathroom ni dad”, ahhahaha! She was really imagining things like she was really there. Few seconds later still in dad’s bathroom view on cam, Ishi said “Mommy naiihi ako”, I told her to go to the bathroom now and pee, she said, “No gusto ko sa bowl ni daddy”. Toinks!
Nakakatuwa naman i tour ang anak ko kahit sa cam lang =)
Ethan on the other hand was so happy seeing his dad on the screen as well as his face. He’s playing hide and seek with daddy by blocking the cam and shouting “baaaaaaa” after removing his fingers on the cam. Ethan’s aura was different, he was so happy to see his dad. He even said ‘miss o na kaw daddy” (Miss ko na ikaw daddy). So sweet! I was so touch when he said that.
This conversation today made me so eager to go after him already! I was super dooper excited! Hope to get our VISA soon! =)
Gosh! What a day! I so love this day! Good day everyone! Till next time!
Daddy just got his performance bonus…hooray for I am actually worried last week because our budget is very budgeted! Thank God He gave us this blessing, some for our savings (for our condo Processing fee), some for my kiddos needs that we cannot afford to buy if we only rely with my husband’s salary and some for hubby and I’s Birthday this August. We’re not going to have a party, we just wanted to celebrate our birthday maybe with the kids and with some close friends. We are not going to buy any material things except for our kiddos. I bought (using dad’s money) my daughter some blouse coz most of her tops do not fit to her anymore. I also bought (using dad’s money…again) my son a black pair of shoes for his uniform. I am so happy I bought them what I really wanted to buy for them last week. I just can’t buy them that time yet because I don’t wanna spent all our money and left nothing for emergencies. You know how important it is to save money for emergency (even though we don’t like them), that’s why I am really thankful to Him for this blessing! God knows how much we need it! Hope to have more blessings to come this year =)
