Preparation for Ishi’s 6th Birthday

Ishi’s birthday venue is set! She’s going to celebrate her birthday at Jumpzone with her classmates and some friends on November 12th. Can’t wait. I am so excited. I know Ishi is so excited too but as a mom, my excitement is I guess is greater than hers. I can’t believe my darling is turning six now, it’s been a while since the last time she celebrated her 5th birthday and she had a blast!

Celebrating her birthday is a simple way is actually our plan but since the granny pledge for her birthday, we were able to give her a party that she wanted. This is what she wants, with party, with cake, with balloons and goodies and most importantly with her classmates. She is so happy with her new classmates and friends now maybe that’s why she wanted to have a party with them.

So for now, we are just waiting for the day to come, the place was set, the cake was ordered, the goodies are here, just have to add some  stationery set in it and viola, let’s party! The only thing that i have to prepare for the party is her back up clothes if ever the dress she’s suppose to wear on her birthday don’t arrive in time.

I will start giving out the invites this week.

Two years ago my daughter Ishi celebrated her birthday in her school. Just a simple celebration with her classmates in Junior Casa. No party happened coz it’s not allowed. I just prepared some food for the kids, a cake and some party favors!

So, birthdays…I love birthday parties but we don’t party every year. My little angels’ birthday last year was kinda happy but unhappy because daddy wasn’t there to celebrate.

I love celebrating my angels birthday, they are the greatest gift God had give to me and to my husband. If possible, I wanted a birthday party yearly but somehow we still need to think of our priorities. This latest birthday of them were unexpected, we didn’t plan on it, it just happened. I guess husband was just guilty being away from us working abroad and it’s the only way he could make our kids happy and he did! My kids are happy during the party but there were times they are thinking about their dad being not there. Then there comes the never ending explanation again why daddy wasn’t there with us. But it’s okay coz everything went well, thanks to the party planner who happened to be ME and I made sure my kids will surely enjoy their day! Their daddy asked what they wanted for their party then I planned for it. I personally made the lootbags , balloon decors and giveaways. I just love doing that! If I have longer time I suppose to order personal stuff.  But shipping is quite long so I decided to make things available in Divisoria. :D
I wonder how my kids will celebrate their birthdays now that we’re here in US. I guess going to the park is the simplest yet fun way! What do you think?

Ishi’s Birthday Venue

This is the POOL where we are planning to set Ishi’s 5th Birthday…
There are two pools here, one for adults that is 4-7ft deep, and 1 for kids that is 2-4ft deep =)

Husband and I decided to invite only the closest friends and cousins of Ishi, that includes her classmates and teachers.

I am so excited to decor it with my balloons =)

Here’s how the venue looks —>

This is Angel Ann’s Wonderful located in Tanza, Navotas. It’s a one ride trip from our village, 30-40 pesos fare in tricycle.
This is Php7,000 for 50 pax, if ever you exceed in guests, an additional 100 pesos per head. Not bad. =)

It has a slide but kids that doesn’t know how to swim can’t use this unless they have floaters or company that knows how to swim like my daughter used to do here….she’s using floater here and with company either her dad or tito =)

This is the view…I love it!

You can also rent the videoke or if you feel like you’re not gonna consume it all, you can just drop 5 peso coin for every song =)

So there….I hope my daughter would enjoy the party soon!

Birthdays!!! Hooray!! These are the latest birthday pictures of my little angels ISHI and ETHAN….


This is ISHI, her latest birthday was last November 14, 2008 celebrated in school. This was very memorable to her. Maybe because she already appreciate parties.

And this is my son, ETHAN who just celebrated his 2nd birthday last January 15. I didn’t make a post about it earlier because I am reserving this post for mommy moments. See chris, I love this meme very much! Hehehehe =)
He celebrated his birthday at home with me, daddy, ate and lola taba. It was thursday morning, I bought a cake from goldilocks near our village before daddy leaves for work and ate to school. He was very happy when we all sang a happy birthday song and asked him to blow his candle. I can see from his eyes that he’s very excited too, like her ate when she celebrated her birthday. I love to see my kids that way, It’s overwhelming. We didn’t brought him any present because we don’t know what to buy for him yet, but I think celebrating his birthday with us is more precious to him than any material gifts. Lola Mama (dad’s mom) gave him a new sweatshirt anyway and he’s very happy with it (shown in the pic).
