Preparation for Ishi’s 6th Birthday

Ishi’s birthday venue is set! She’s going to celebrate her birthday at Jumpzone with her classmates and some friends on November 12th. Can’t wait. I am so excited. I know Ishi is so excited too but as a mom, my excitement is I guess is greater than hers. I can’t believe my darling is turning six now, it’s been a while since the last time she celebrated her 5th birthday and she had a blast!

Celebrating her birthday is a simple way is actually our plan but since the granny pledge for her birthday, we were able to give her a party that she wanted. This is what she wants, with party, with cake, with balloons and goodies and most importantly with her classmates. She is so happy with her new classmates and friends now maybe that’s why she wanted to have a party with them.

So for now, we are just waiting for the day to come, the place was set, the cake was ordered, the goodies are here, just have to add some  stationery set in it and viola, let’s party! The only thing that i have to prepare for the party is her back up clothes if ever the dress she’s suppose to wear on her birthday don’t arrive in time.

I will start giving out the invites this week.

Moving to Other Apartment

Moving to Other Apartment

There’s a vacant unit downstairs in our building, I really wanna move in there coz I hate to stay up stairs. My husband didn’t intent to get a unit in the second floor for so many reasons but during that time, there’s no available unit in any first floor building so we have no choice but to get this unit. The reasons we don’t wanna live upstairs is because  we have kids. We all know kids are very active and you cannot stop them from playing and of course make noise. We want to avoid that. My kids are running around the house and it’s causing disturbance to the neighbors downstairs. One more thing is that during tornado. We experienced it last summer and it’s scary! We an’t stay in our house during those circumstances, we need to move to a tornado shelter  to be able to be safe and it’s not comfortable for us. As much as possible, we all want to stay at home right but it’s not applicable to us since we live upstairs. I hate those facts but moving is also not a good idea since we already established our address. We have no choice this time but to wait till we acquire our own house someday.

It’s hard to think of gifts to give out with your friends. Giving clothes is not a good idea specially if you are not sure about their sizes and favorite colors. So I am thinking I would probably look for a unisex gifts instead. I am researching what unisex gift ideas it could be and I came up with different items such as jewelries, personalized mugs, swishers, towels and other small items. I preferred personalized gift items actually but I have to figure out their personality first.

Christmas is coming so fast, I still don’t ave a work and unfortunately, USCIS just denied my Employment Authorization due to some miscommunication  issue. I am so disappointed that I will not be able to have a job soon. I need to have a job, I need to help my husband in all our expenses especially now that Christmas is coming. I don’t even have a gift for him. I saw some affordable gifts already such as mens sexy wear and some simple men’s accessories but haven’t decided yet what to buy. I guess any gift is okay as long as it’s coming from me like what other people say “it’s the thought that counts” and I agree with that. I wish I could settle my employment permit soon, I really need a job. God Help me.

Would You Ever Consider Getting Cosmetic Surgery?

This is a serious question for all the ladies out there. Would you ever consider going under the knife for cosmetic purposes? There are a lot of women today who really spend thousands of dollars on cosmetic procedures like Botox, rhinoplasty, porcelain veneers, and even breast augmentation just to look good. It’s sad to think that there are women who actually equate looking good with their physical features. Don’t they know that you don’t really have to be drop dead gorgeous just to get people to notice you? Physical beauty fades away. But if you have inner beauty, it will transcend everything else. It will shine through until all other people can see is your radiating inner beauty.

I would rather have people looking or staring at me because of the things I can do and things I can say. I want people to look at me because of the kindness of my heart. Sadly, others don’t understand that. They think that physical features define what’s within. Superficial beauty, to me, is nothing. Just as a pretty flower wilts, the same could happen to a person’s beauty. So now, I would ask you again. Would you ever consider undergoing cosmetic surgery just to look smashing? Or would you rather not change anything and just let your inner beauty shine?

I am so frustrated that ZULILY wasn’t able to DELIVER my HOMEWORK CADDY orders. I received a REFUND after more than a MONTH waiting for it. So sad. But still, I know that possibility but I am just a little bit sad about what happened. I love that caddy and my kids are waiting for it too but I have no choice but to tell them that it’s not going to be delivered.

I used my refund to order BOOKS instead and still they are from ZULILY no matter how disappointed I am for what they did. I hope this books will arrive.

Kids Room Needs Portable AC

Kids Room Needs Portable AC

I have my kids’ room checked last week by one of the maintenance here in our community. The AC is not functioning well and I am afraid it would be so chilly when winter started. The maintenance said the AC is just fine and he said it’s just because of the house orientation that affects the temperature of their room. At first I am not convinced but I don’t have any choice coz they will not fix it anyway since they told me there’s nothing wrong with it. They suggested I just have to buy  portable air conditioner for my kids room. I also though of that but if we are going to buy it, that means there will be two AC functioning in the house and that will be costly.

Last summer our electricity bill has gone mad and we paid too much for it is really hot and using AC in unavoidable. Now that winter is coming, we were expecting our bill will be higher so we are getting ready for that. I wish we the AC will function properly this winter, we don’t wanna use two AC in the house plus we don’t wanna buy another appliances as much as possible.

Let’s Loose Some Sugar!

Last weekend is a very hectic schedule for all of us. My kids have plenty of activities in their school and we don’t wanna miss it!

Ishi had their First Literacy Night last Thursday and then Friday was their Tail Gate. They are all fun but tiring so we didn’t go out last Saturday and had our rest all day. Sunday afternoon before we go to Walmart and bought some groceries, daddy decided to bring the kids to the park coz they are very hyper and they seem to have very high sugar level for being stuck all day in the house. So here they go…

We were so hungry so we bought some chicken strips and potato wedges for a quick snack before we play in Dave Peel’s Park.

Ethan managed to find new friends this time and played with them – the other kids and him were pretending to have a burger store and the stones are the budgers. Hmm…yummy burgers!

The kids once again had a happy weekend and were glad the weather was fine that day.

I always love unique ideas, unique designs of my stuff that’s why I always love to buy personalized items. But when I saw this site of mugs , I am so dying now to buy one!!  Look at the pictures below and tell me what you can say about it.

I love the zoom lens unfortunately it’s not a real one, but  just a brilliant concept design for now. I wish I have a mug like that!!! So cool!!!  These mugs are nice or should I say great to give out to our friends and office mates this coming Christmas. Giving office stuff are cool coz you can always see them used by your special friends. I always like to give gift that are affordable yet useful and this mug is one of them Useful and Adorable!

Aside from this mugs, you can always give our personalized one with their pictures on it. I saw many personalized stores selling such stuff already so that would be easy to find. Other thing I have in mind are crochet stuff since I am also in crocheting. No other special gift than a gift made with love.
