Kids’ Clothes and Toys

Kids’ Clothes and Toys

I can’t stop myself from shopping. I just shopped again yesterday and it cost me almost a hundred dollars! I saw these second hand clothes that is just right for my newly born niece back in the Philippines. I ordered online from a seller in the Philippines so they can easily ship it to my sister, the mommy of my newly born niece. I wanted to shop for them here but shipping to the Philippines is kinda expensive and it will take a month before it arrives so better shop in there.

Aside from clothes, I am also looking for some toys, bags and shoes. My seller friend has a lot of new and so cute stuff  displayed in her site. Some are second hand and some are from other country. I am so tempted again, they are so cheap!  China sourcing is very popular  in our country that’s why most of the products there were all very affordable. Brand new toys and so many more!

I miss going to Divisoria.  A lot of stuff are so affordable in there too! That’s because most of them were from China. I miss walking, canvassing and shopping there! I am not a shopaholic before,  the truth behind my shopping addiction  is that, I miss my family back in the Philippines. I miss my nieces and nephew. I am thinking about them now that their Aunt is far away from them, they have no one to go to when they need something. So to keep my connection with them, I am still shopping for them, bringing smiles in their faces and so with my mama. In that way, it is making me so happy.

Our Mailbox

Our Mailbox

My kids are so happy when receiving letters and postcards. They are as excited as me to open our mailbox and see what’s in there for us. I am always happy when I got to see some postcards for me. I’ve been collecting postcards for almost 2 months now and I love it. My kids are not into postcrossing but they love to receive some so I am requesting from my friends too to send them a card.

Postcard for Ishi

Postcard for Ethan

Last week my angels received a postcard from Pennsylvania and they love it!  I am letting them open the mailbox using our key. We don’t have address plaque but they know our number indicated in the box already so they able to determine which is our mailbox.  We are only living in an apartment that’s why our mail box is located near the club house and not infront of our door. Some of the single attached house in our community has their own mailbox and house address plaques infront.

My kids love to walk with me through the mailbox even though they are not expecting letters, they just love to open the mailbox. They can recognize which building we are even without address signs. They just memorize the building number.

Thursday Surprises

Thursday Surprises

My kids a had a wonderful day last Thursday even the daddy is not feeling well, he managed to bring the kids to school, fetched them and attended Spirit night at Chic-Fil-A. I called husband’s sickness a blessing in disguise because if he was not absent from work yesterday, we weren’t able to see the smile on Ishi’s face when she saw her Daddy at the school bus drop off when she get off from her school bus. She was surprise it was her daddy waiting for her infront of the house. After few minutes, we all picked up Ethan and same with Ate Ishi, Ethan was also happy and surprised when he saw me and his sister when daddy picked him up.

Shopping for School Supplies

Shopping for School Supplies

A few weeks before classes started, my kids and I were busy preparing the things they’ll need for school. I wanted enough time to shop for their supplies, and I was literally panicking because I felt were so late with our shopping.  To my surprise, when we went shopping for preschool supplies, the mall was so quiet and laidback. You wouldn’t even think that students and their parents were abuzz because school is about to start again.

I actually wanted to shop for the supplies early because I thought that the mall would be jam-packed. I guess I’ve been accustomed to the way most people back home did their school supplies shopping that’s why I overreacted. Most of the people back home have the unfortunate habit of putting off their shopping up until the last minute. Actually, it’s something that happens not just during the opening of the school year, but also during the Christmas season.

I didn’t know, or I guess I never took the time to find out, that here, shopping for school supplies is something to look forward to. I had fun buying stuff for my kids although my list was not too long. There were just a few miscellaneous items we had to buy, but most of the school things were provided by the school.

Protect the Kids & Get them a Health Card

Protect the Kids & Get them a Health Card

Thank God my kids are feeling better now, I am afraid they might get sick again and so I am cramming finding a good deal health insurance. I cam accross www.trustedquote.com and they seem have a lot of choices with cheaper cost. We really need a cheaper one right now coz I don’t have a job yet. I just need a health card for my kids to ensure their safety. I am not expecting enything worst to happen but there’s also nothing bad about being prepared. You don’t know what might sickness come into us, especially for us that is just beginning to adjust with the new environement and new weather. It’s better to be safe than sorry right?

On and Off Colds and Cough

On and Off Colds and Cough

I feel so relieved now that my kids are feeling better already. I was so bothered when they started going to school and experienced this on and off colds and cough. Good thing I gave them some medicine and thank God it worked.

The weather is changing so sudden. The last time I remember it was very hot and now it’s cold already. Fall is now starting and so with my worries. Kids are very vulnerable to colds and I am afraid they might have them again as weather is becoming very cold now. I am so upset we weren’t able to get our health card that we supposed to have last week. We were very confused what and where to get a better health card now since the last company we have talked to have some issues and I don’t think we can trust them anymore. So we are now on process of  searching for more reliable company to have a health card immediately. We don’t wanna risk the kids’ health and or spent too much  in hospital bills even there’s a Medical Consulting agency out there to help us. I wish we could get our health card soon. This on and off colds and cough of my kids are bothering me so much.

How Songs Become Music to Our Ears

How Songs Become Music to Our Ears

I guess I can say that I’m a frustrated singer. I think each and every one of us has that in us, the desire to be able to belt out songs and hit the high notes effortlessly. Unfortunately, not all of us have the gift of music, voice and singing. There are plenty of great singers out there and although I really admire them and look up to them, I have to admit that I am more in awe of the musical and technical geniuses who work behind the scenes.

A singer wouldn’t be able to perform his job well if he doesn’t have a song to sing so credit goes to the lyricist and the one who created the melody of the song. However even after the words and music are complete there are other aspects that need to be taken care of and one of them audio mastering which is one of the most important steps in audio engineering. In this step, each song is given the final touches needed before it can be released to the public. That is why songs literally become music to our ears.

You’ll be amazed to know that even music mastering services are now available online. So now, not only can you mix audio over the Internet, but you can also apply the finishing touches to a song without the need to be in an actual recording studio.

What are Mailing Lists?

What are Mailing Lists?

Hospitals and medical clinics benefit from manufacturers whose specialization is the products or services provided by the said institutions. That means the said institutions rely heavily on suppliers for the regular replenishment of the medicines and other stuff in their inventory. Even the equipment being used in hospitals and clinics have suppliers.

Did you ever stop to wonder how those suppliers were able to bring their businesses to those industries? Mailing lists have a lot to do with that. In the medical field, for example, healthcare mailing lists provide suppliers with a comprehensive listing of hospitals and clinics in a particular area that they could do business with. The mailing lists would include a number of demographic factors like the hospital’s complete name, its annual sales volume, the name of the main contact person, his ethnicity and gender, contact numbers, addresses, number of employees, website address and even the number of years the hospital has been operating.

Suppliers need all the information they can get from the mailing list so they would have sort of a background about the place they plan to do business with. The information contained in mailing lists is very important in establishing an admirable client-supplier relationship.
